Lochnagar today

Not any new snow to report on but lying snow has been blown around overnight making a few deeper drifts. We broke trail today, same as yesterday, dry and mostly baseless.
There is some unstable slab around both hard and soft, some areas have already fallen off.
An interesting forecast ahead, possibly a brief thaw/freeze cycle before more snow or just lots more snow! Staying very windy so we’re expecting plenty more in the gullies. It will be worth checking forecasts before coming out.
Crag is obviously snowy, a few pieces of ice developing but nothing significant except the Loch. Stuff like West Gully is still non existant.
