A bit more please!

7th January 2007

There was a brief rise in the freezing level, it popped up over the tops for a while last night. No big thaw, all the older hard patches have softened although a few exposed areas are still hard and icy. The freezing level is back around 900 metres again.
Our gullies should have snow for the rest of the season, they’ve had a few thaw/freeze cycles now. Our area is possibly the only area that will get snow later tomorrow (we need it!) so hopefully we can get a bit more in there.
