Lochnagar.

31st March 2022

A similar day to yesterday, cold winds with heavy snow showers, then clearing, giving some cracking views. We didn’t get as much snow as the North Cairngorms but it certainly felt like Winter again.

Big changes in temperatures for the deer. -5 degrees this morning.

I didn’t think I’d see much today but it cleared up as I arrived at the corrie, makes a change!

A lone walker makes his way up The Ladders. Old snow is rock hard.

Southern Sector. Winds blowing directly into the corrie today.

The main crags.

The West Butress.

Even got some views of Beinn a Bhuird.
