Cloudy.

25th January 2022

A poor day for observations with a lot of hill cloud around. It was reasonably cold, with the freezing level around 900 metres or so.

Tomorrow (26th) looking windy.

A break in the cloud. The biggest snow patch in the Glenshee hills! The white boxes seen at the top of the snow are creating the snow/ice pellets. The piste machines then pushes it down the hill.

On snow in Corrie Fionn. Some sizeable patches around but that’s about it for the hills around Glenshee. Higher North to East facing corries holding most.
