A Room With No View

29th December 2021

There wasn’t a great view from ‘The Office’ window today: It was one of those days where you just put your head down and got on with it. Cloudy, strong winds and snowfall that contained a lot of icy particles – Get the goggles on and jacket done up!

The snow was definitely getting wetter at lower elevations and whilst I was initially dry on the hill, things were becoming damper as the day progressed.

Nothing much to report for the next 24 hour period – staying windy but will be drier than today.

Photo opportunities were seriously limited today – Apologies will try harder next time!

Heading up into the cloud. West & North facing aspects holding more snow than East & South.

Dropping back out of the cloud. Good to see the Factory snow allowing people to give Scottish Skiing a go!

A thoughtful and inspiring memorial to a talented young ski racer. The AJ Ski Racing Bursary has been set up to assist others to excel as AJ did. https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/AJbursary
