Fairly light snow showers throughout the day, still windy with drifting from 500 metres or so.

Up through the forest. Can’t emphasise enough how tiring this would be without ski’s.

Cornice above a low lying burn. Spot the hare sheltering under the left side of it?

A dark sky heralding the next set of snow showers.

We noted various indications the snow is still unstable today. Here we passed a cornice that had collapsed pulling a small slope out under it. For such a small event the blocks are quite large.
