It was very calm overnight and throughout the day. Little snow has moved on the hill. Cover is generally good above 900 metres, very firm and icy in places.

Gelder Shiel and Lochnagar.

Beinn A Bhuird.

A climber descending from Eagle Ridge.

Thin cover but very hard and icy on the plateau.

There were a few runners around today.

Climbers finishing Shadow Buttress.

Climber under Raeburns Gully, heading for The Black Spout.

Same climber lower down The BLack Spout.

The top of the gullies are holding unstable snow. Most of the time it’s avoidable such as here on Black Spout Right hand.

The Tors of Ben Avon.
