Another fine day.

4th March 2020

It was another fine day on the hill, little wind with some summit cloud at times.

Snow cover is good but varied underfoot.

Quite a few ski manufacturers were at Glenshee today. This was a chance for ski retailers to try next years models. Was pleased to see some avalanche equipment was also there. Andy inspecting an Arva snow shovel.

Ski conditions are excellent both on and off piste.

Someone was brave enough to ski across the loch.

Surface instabilities were caused by the morning sun.

Lone ski tourer, good coverage on these aspects.

Quite a few tourers around. Nice to meet these three. One is currently working through PhD in Snow, one is a Met Office forecaster (he writes forecasts for the SAIS) and an engineer. Interesting bunch!

Ski tracks on Easterly aspects.
