All change?

18th December 2019

Great to see Glenshee Ski Centre kick the season off today and also good to see a few ski tourers out as well. Good cover overall but tonights thaw may leave a different picture tomorrow. We initially have a lot of snow forecast but this will be followed by rain and freezing levels over the summits. Let’s see what’s left tomorrow!

Some phone snaps from today.

Carn an Tuirc. Snow cover good above 600 metres.

A ski tourer leaving the middle valley, Glenshee.

These tracks are from yesterday but surface layers were a little harder today.

Spot the two skiers in the centre making their way up a ridge.
