Cool today.

25th March 2019

Generally a cloudy day with the freezing level around 950 metres this morning . Older patchy snow is currently very firm but will start softening up as the freezing levels are rising above the summits overnight.

Poor cover in Corrie Fionn. Remaining snow was very firm today.

Glas Maol plateau at 1060 metres.

Looking to Cairn o Claise, 1064m. Deepest patches are on Easterly aspects.

New snow on Glas Maol plateau. Generally a dusting above 900 metres but occasional very shallow pockets in wind sheltered features.

Looking a  bit whiter (and cloudier) over on Cairn Toul.
