Slow return to Winter.

Winter is slowly creeping back into the hills, a light covering of snow on most aspects and ice forming on open hillsides. Forecast is remaining cold with further light snowfall in our area but worth noting it will be heavier in the neighbouring North Cairngorms.
Old snow was very firm and icy from 900 metres.
New snow was largely cosmetic. Glas Maol plateau at 1000 metres.
The cloud started clearing around lunchtime. Carn Aosda, hopefully the tows will see some use before long!
