A change from the West

21st March 2018

A real shock going back to much milder weather from the West. Despite todays strong winds the snow was too moist to blow around and there was obvious snow loss at lower levels, However  it’s been quite a gentle thaw.

Continuing mild but dry tomorrow.

Little to see above 900 metres.  Glas Maol plateau, away from the ice on the West side.

There is still good cover for skiing, West aspects still hold most snow. Looking up at Carn an Tuirc.
