Cool and windy.

5th April 2017

It was cool and windy on the tops today. We headed into the hills from The Spittal of Glenshee. Beautiful, quiet area that can also be accessed from Braemar. A bike is useful in the approach to the hills. Walking conditions are excellent at the moment.

Glas Tulichean. Previously there have been some large avalanches in this Corrie. Not really a problem at the moment!

No places to hide!

Another great Munro, Carn Nan Righ.

Great views today, looking to Beinn A Ghlo.

Loch nan Eun is an isolated loch at a fairly high altitude. However these swans have made it home.

Old boundary post with Beinn Luthern Bheag in the background.
