Very strong winds today were causing persistent drifting of the existing deposits. Pretty poor visibility initially so no mountain photos today: The cloud broke later in the day giving a brighter sunny afternoon. Sounds like tomorrow will be a more pleasant day with light increasing to moderate winds. Saturday however is starting to look like a much more unsettled day with strong winds and persistent snow. There is still some uncertainty over this forecast at the moment so it would be a very good idea to get an update on Friday.
