Lochnagar today.

Thawing at all levels today but turning Wintry again tomorrow.
Snow thawing at all levels becoming patchy in most locations.
The crags are still holding snow. Exits are tricky in places.
Cairn on the plateau an indicator to recent wind direction.
Looking across to the West Buttress area.
Looking towards The Stuic. Patchy cover on the plateau. Some cornices were noted on The Stuic crags while Lochnagar has virtually nothing.
The Black Spout left hand exit. Typical of the steep poor exits on Lochnagar at the moment although there are no cornices. Hopefully there will be some improvement in the forecasted colder period.
