Cloudy and mild.

10th March 2017

It was a fairly clear start to the day but wasn’t long before the cloud started build up around the tops. The thaw hadn’t quite kicked in yet with the freezing level around 930 metres by midday, however it is continuing to rise.

The Glas Allt waterfalls. Low water levels today but there is likely to be a higher flow rate tomorrow as thaw conditions take hold.

Looking up the Glas Allt to Lochnagar. It became increasing cloudy during the day with a touch of rain in the air.
