A cloudy and wet start.

It was a poor start to the day with some heavy rain at times. However around Lochnagar it cleared up late morning just as we were coming of the hill. It was still looking cloudy elsewhere. Rain is forecast throughout the day on Friday.
Gelder Shiel and Lochnagar.
Despite the rain we had some views into Lochnagar. Some easier gullies are still complete.
It started to clear late morning. Snow is mainly restricted to N to E corries.
We haven’t had much rain this season but we are forecast moderate amounts on Friday. Hopefully it’ll help lower the fire risk!
