More snow!

7th February 2017

With plenty of snowfall in the last 24 hours the snow cover is developing well. Good news is there is enough cover to ski tour, perhaps not with your best ski’s though. Worth a read of the avalanche reports if heading out.

Great to see Glenshee Ski Centre up and running, felt a long time coming.

The Perth Ski Club hut looking like a proper ski hut.

It was very windy up to around midnight, many fences had a lot of snow behind them. Not a breath of wind during the day!

Deep drifts in places from 600 metres.

Glenshee were working hard packing down the snow.

Generally poor visibility up high, we had the occasional view on the way down.

Descending a Westerly aspect, plenty snow cover here. And a brief bit of sun! Debris noted on these aspects.

Great to see snow over the Glenshee Ski Area.
