Happy New Year

1st January 2009

Bit of a different day today with thick hill cloud – instead of the brilliant blue sky of yesterday. Conditions remain pretty much unchanged with very firm patchy snow, mainly above 800 metres, although you will come across snow lower than this. There are some very icy patches underfoot to watch out for as well.
High pressure is set to continue tomorrow – which means more dry settled weather with light winds.
