Warmer tonight?

18th January 2008

Went for an easier day today, given the forecast. Headed up some uplift but as soon as we were off piste and out the ski area we got a real kicking!

Looks like its showing signs of warming up now. At the time of writing it has reached around 0 deegrees at 900 metre here and Cairngorm is now over +2. We’ve writen our forecast on the basis there will be a mild period tonight otherwise there will be a lot of snow available for drifting and it’ll probably be more like 3+. Be worth just checking those freezing levels tonight.

Windy tomorrow but I expect Lochnagar to have some interest.
