No Change

28th January 2008

There’s been very little change to the conditions today. It has remained mild and the patchy snow is continuing to thaw slowly. It does look a little depressing after the conditions we have been enjoying but it is forecast to get colder tomorrow. The freezing level should lower to about 600 metres. At present there is some uncertainty about snow amounts. It could be a few wintry showers but there might be some heavier snow. The best thing to do is catch a local evening weather forcast and by that time there will be a much stronger idea of where the frontal system is going to track.
