Todays pit site.

There was a very high wind chill today. We were pleased the pit was mostly out of the wind.
Generally the older snow has refrozen and there is a few pockets of newer softer stuff in sheltered places.
Poor viz in the cloud made the skiing hard work off piste. We rewarded ourselves with a contour into the ski area and a piste into the valley – different world – fantastic soft pisted soft snow over a hard base, certainly flattering to ski on.
A real mixed bag of weather tomorow, we’ll just have to see what we’re given!
